The Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Association is based in Stroud, Gloucestershire. The Chief Instructor, Sensei Nick Quilliam Renshi 7th Dan (pictured to the right), has been training, competing in and teaching traditional Wado-Ryu Karate-Do for over 42 years.

Congratulations to Nick Quilliam on achieving 7th Dan!
After ten years of continuous training and teaching Nick Quilliam has achieved the level of 7th Dan. This was awarded on Saturday 7th January 2012 at the Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Academy's annual New Year training course and party. It was presented by Sensei M Shiomitsu 9th Dan Hanshi and endorsed by Hironori Ohtsuka President and Grand Master of the International Federation of Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Organizations.
